Bash Dental Proud to Sponsor 35th Annual Bucks County Senior Games

Summer’s here; are you staying active? This season, Bash Dental has the honor of sponsoring the 35th Annual Bucks County Senior Games!

The annual event, which is put on by the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging, is a celebration of physical fitness and fun for the elderly population in the region. As one of the most community-oriented dentists in North Wales, PA, we’re proud to say that we at Bash Dental helped bring another year of the Annual Bucks County Senior Games.

It can be difficult to get adequate exercise when living in a senior care facility, but the community of Bucks County is working together to help older citizens stay active. The Bucks County Senior Games are a celebration of physical fitness and fun in the elderly population. Older citizens living in the area come together to compete in a variety of physical challenges, including golf, bowling, bocce, field events, tennis, and many more events.

Winners will be honored at a medal ceremony, but even those who don’t walk home with a medal will enjoy a fun day of being active. This year, the annual event is holding the “Challenge of the Senior Centers,” where participating elderly care facilities are coming together to see who had the most athletic senior citizens.

This event will conclude with a celebration luncheon at the George School in Newtown on June 15. Overall, we here at Bash Dental are proud to say that we can help senior citizens in our area stay active and have fun.
